Animal Shelter Gift Fund
Gimme Shelter inspired the creation of this municipal account in December 2017. We started with 2022 with $24,060.78. The account stands at 33,682.78 today. We believe that this is a testament to the support for a new Animal Shelter. Note that there is a “virtual lock’ on this account, meaning that these donated funds may not be reappropriated to another project.
Giving Tuesday is this Tuesday, November 29th. Mayor Garrett informed us last week that a digital link for online donations to the Animal Shelter Gift Fund is now available. To make a donation online, go to Hamden.com, click Donate, then choose the Animal Shelter Building/Facility option – or click here.
